I give this CD a 10 out of 10 ranking. I should have reviewed this CD when I first heard it. It got lost in the shuffle or I was distracted but it got put in the pile for a second listen. With the BMA award for album of the year, the CD made it back in my player. What an awsome effort! There has only been a handful of CDs this year that made me feel the way this one does! I give this CD a 7 out of 10 ranking. I'm not a huge fan of acoustic music but this is a good CD. If you are a fan of acoustic music give it an 8. My favorite songs are the ones that have the harp and slide guitar incorporated in them.

I give this CD a 9 out of 10 ranking. Powerful, Soulful and Emotional are the ways that I would describe Miss Tuckers vocals. The band is hot and the lyrics are strong. The title track, Keeping The Blues Alive is done as a Gospel tune and that is perfect. Miss Tucker was involved in writing most of these songs and let me tell you these songs are a great vehicle to display her talent. All the songs are strong, here are links to a few more of them, I wanna hear some more!
