- No carry-ins. Food and beverage vendors will be on site, and seating is provided — please leave outside food, drinks, coolers, and chairs at home.
- Kids 12 and under get in free when accompanied by a paying adult.
- All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, rain or shine.
- Ticket delivery: Tickets are delivered by email through Zeffy right after purchase. Just show the email on your phone at the door, or print it out ahead of time.

About the Blues Café
Every March, the Great Northern Blues Society (GNBS) turns the Rothschild Pavilion into Central Wisconsin’s home for the blues. Now in its 27th year, the Blues Café is a two-night blues festival in Rothschild, WI — just outside Wausau — bringing together regional favorites and nationally touring blues artists for a weekend of live music, dancing, and community.
GNBS is a nonprofit dedicated to conserving, promoting, and presenting blues music in all its forms for audiences of every age, while supporting the musicians who keep the genre alive. Proceeds from the Blues Café help fund that mission year-round, including scholarships, youth outreach, and support for touring and local blues artists across the Northwoods.
Whether you’re a longtime blues fan in the Wausau / Rothschild / Central Wisconsin area or making the trip in just for the festival, the 27th Annual Blues Café is one of the region’s largest live blues events — with two full nights of music, food and drink vendors on site, and a lineup that spans traditional, contemporary, and high-energy blues.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my own food, drinks, or chairs?
No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed, and seating is provided, so there’s no need to bring your own chairs or blankets. Food and drink vendors will be on site both nights.
Is the Blues Café kid-friendly?
